On May 2, I attended a variety show at East Haven High School in East Haven, Connecticut. All proceeds went to benefit St. Jude's Children's Hospitals.

On January 31, I was selected for one year of service as Miss North Haven. Between appearances for my title, and promoting my platform of Supporting Americans in Uniform and Public Service, I will be training for the Miss Connecticut state pageant in June. This blog is a chronicle of my crazy journey around the state of Connecticut as a local titleholder.

About Me
- Gretchen Michelle Hahn
- I have just graduated Smith College in Massachusetts, with a major in Government and a minor in Public Policy. When I am not competing in pageants for the Miss America organization, promoting my platform, or volunteering for the USO, I am lobbying for the U.S. Public Service Academy and staying active in my community. At Smith College, I was president of Smith College Republicans, acted as a Gold Key campus tour guide, rode horses, and worked on campus.
